I must have been born with music in my blood as my mother is a superb Pianist and because I love beats!! I have always had an ear for music, starting off when I was 6 teaching myself the guitar then in my late teen's started getting into dance music. I went to the UK in 2001 and went out all the time mostly to hardhouse but then I found that I preferred house music. I like all genres of house. It really makes me want to dance for hours on end. I have always wanted to try DJing so I bought myself a DJ starter kit whilst living in the country in the UK. I then bought a few records and taught myself to mix. I came back to NZ end of 2003 and met up with another female house DJ Miss Robyn and then we played out quite a bit together at: Paradiso, Curve Bar, Imerst (now Garden Club), Tupelo, then i played out at Twisted, Attic Lounge, Subnine. I play funky, sexy, soulful tribal house! The music I play is similar to that of: Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Norman Cook, Norman Jay, Groove Armada. I would love to put on a night every month just need to find other people that play similar music to me.
