It's about switching directions. Taking a sound and shifting it in a way that you did not expect. Dismantling expectations and creating moments of interest on the dance floor. Pushing the edge and turning it over in an unexpected way.

Dance music & culture has been a constant passion. Constantly absorbing me in its pulsating and unruly life. I've battled it for years, trying to understand the craft, trying to shape and form the sound, trying to create attention for my work, my style, my skills.

I play Techno. Not so much as a genre but as a mindset. Techno as a philosophical approach if you can consider it that. The music is rich in electronica, clean, rhythmically four four but not strictly ridged. What interests me is sonic texture, density & context. Genre is more about mood.

I don't call myself a Dj. I'm not necessarily out there just to entertain people. It's about physical exploration of sound through the techniques of Dj'ing. Adventures in real time sonic composition. It's about the energy of dancefloors and the people that move on them. The experience is often quite personal maybe even intimate.

I've got history, it runs deep and all over the place. Still I'm not so worried about what I've done, its what I'm about to do next that I'm focused on.
