Getting out Live with Welli electronic producers and mixing it up with a heap of guests and top Ak support acts.
It has been a while since Wellington producers 50Hz and Rhian Sheehan have made it to Auckland. So getting into the spirit of New Zealand music month they've decided to head north and, with their respective entourages will be swooping on Auckland for three nights.
They will be playing two gigs. One at the Wyndham Bowling Club and one at Galatos on with support from Auckland's next big things - Verse Two and Skyman.
Also both Rhian Sheehan and 50Hz have been invited to perform live in store at Real Groovy Queen Street. They will each be doing 45min sets with guests Ladi6, hummel and DJ Shan.
[[50Hz]]
After 2 full-length albums, 2 vinyl releases and over a decade's worth of production experience under his belt, 50Hz is one of New Zealand's most highly skilled and respected electronic producers.
Live 50Hz utilises the MPC in collaboration with turntabilist DJ Shan, and Rhian Sheehan on guitar. In the Auckland shows these instruments will combine with vocalists from the album Ladi6 ("Seek Know More") and Miss La ("Smooth Rhodes"), with guest MC's and see you later 100% Wellington visuals.

Wellington producer Rhian Sheehan has fully explored and utilised computer as an instrument mixing it up live with real instruments and some sublime vocals and samples.
Joining Rhian with electric guitar, vocals, sampler and various other instruments is hummel, a likeminded sound designer who has been working with Rhian for over a year. Kirsten Johnstone and DJ Shan also feature in Rhian's live performance adding the edge with the flute and turntableism.
Verse Two
This Hip hop soul and reggae influenced band have been getting a lot of attention lately for their brilliant live show.
Auckland based Verse two are former Sheelaroc vocalist Ladi6, Brent Parks guitar and backing vocals, Marcus Vanilau aka Jojo keys and backing vocals, Julian Dyne drums and Jeremy Toy bass guitar.
Skyman
At Galatos we introduce Skyman - a collective of producers & musicians who's live sound is a mix of new technology & improvised soul.
