Back at Studionine !

From 1999 - 2003 Wellington witnessed some of the finest drum and bass parties New Zealand has ever seen.

The combination of Studionine and the emerging drum and bass brand Bass Frontiers set the standard for what was to evolve into one of the healthiest scenes in the Southern Hemisphere.

It was a truly a special time for the drum and bass scene and Wellington dance culture in general, vibes were second to none and the parties had a feeling not really ever experienced since .

The fortnightly Bass Frontiers local sessions were legendary and the visits by the cream of UK drum and bass such as Bad Company, Dillinja, Grooverider, Zinc, Marky, Doc Scott were always simply incredible. Crew have come and gone but Bass Frontiers remains strong and resolute in its original goals of providing the best possible events for the Wellington party people.

Now in 2009 Studionine is set to reopen as a nightclub once again and Bass Frontiers is returning to the spot where it all began for the first time in 6 years. To mark the occasion we have assembled an all star dj line up that will ensure maximum danger! Hold tight Wellington this one is gonna be special.
