Providing the Welly Massive with it's regular fix of quality drum and bass since 1999. Bass Frontiers has never faltered from its dedication to bring the people the best dj's laying down the finest beats, breaks and basslines. The full spectrum sound of the BF crew has led to many unforgettable sessions behind the decks, in front of the big speakers and of course by the bar. Maintaining a fortnightly residency at Studionine for 5 years, Bass Frontiers has gone on to establish itself as one of New Zealand's most popular regular club nights. Entering their sixth year, the commitment to rolling out the crucial sounds remains strong as ever with many regular events showcasing the finest international, national and local drum and bass talent. With much much more to come in 2005 and beyond ... definatly keep watching this space!

All the headz and party people for their love of drum and bass that provided us with so many memorable moments and parties, it is this support that has helped us grow Welly into one of the best dnb scenes in the world. Thanks to all the local labels, musicians and producers representing the Aotearoa flavors globally, the bars, venues, musicians, dj's, soundboys, promoters, techs, designers, record stores, magazines, radio shows/stations, websites, gig guides, labels, agents, artists, photographers, and vj's that have worked with us. FIERCE [Quarantine , UK]

This badboy is no stranger to Drum and Bass with a string of heavyweight releases on ground breaking imprints such as Prototype, Virus, Metro and his own label Quarantine to name a few. Join us as we proudly bring you one of UK jungles, most entertaining and hard-hitting dj's. The one they call Fierce, touching down in Wellington for the first time. On the decks, Fierce has more than proven himself to be a master of the trade smashing dancehalls worldwide. He's legendary in drum and bass circles for his hand in the production of classic cuts such as Alien Girl, Innocence, Carrier and Locust. Now in 2005, Fierce is destined to make some more serious waves with forthcoming releases by himself and D-Bridge, followed by an album project from the pair. His label will also be bringing forward-thinking new material from the likes of Break, Hydro and Silent Witness. Fierce's unique sound, upfront selection and skills will ensure the BF birthday celebrations will be another completely off the hook session of drum and bass in the Capital.
