Bass Frontiers Drum And Bass

  • Music: Drum and Bass

Back from a brief hiatus Bass Frontiers returns for their first full local gig since the 5th Birthday celebrations in April. BF's commitment to showcasing the freshest and best the drum and bass world has to offer remains strong after 5 years representing breakbeat culture in the capital. We now forge on in 2004 dedicated more then ever to our mission to bring the best parties, vibes and music to the Wellington party people.

For this edition we welcome 2 of Christchurch's best, D-Tour and Medelin.

D-Tour has been a leading force in the Christchurch drum and Bass scene many years, recently returning after taking in the sounds and culture of London for a couple of years. His sound takes in all areas of the drum and bass spectrum and it is this versatility that see's him play regularly for all of Christchurch's top crews.

DJ Medelin has a weekly residency at one of Christchurch's top clubs, Carbon, regularly plays support at the major internationals going down and also features on Drum and Bass radio show, The Code on RDU. Medelin returns to Wellington after a 2 year absence, his previous appearances at Bass Frontiers have been infamous to say the least.

Rounding out the line up is Wellyz Most Dangerous Ddog and Sal running their trademark back2back sound, and we are also very happy to welcome aboard the fresh talent of Opiou (Rumble in the Jungle winner) and Dappa (Unwind /AK).
