The Drum and Bass Event of the Festive Season! 2 Zones!

After yet another solid year supporting the Wellington Drum and Bass scene, Bassdrop.co.nz would like to celebrate with the locals by hosting three very special guests from up north, for some Christmas breakbeat revelry of epic proportions.

Paramount on the line up, and very excited about taking part in the end of year merriment, are the two State of Mind lads, Pat Hawkins and Stu Maxwell. These guys' productions are smashing it around the world at the moment, thanks to play by a host of A-List DJ's. With more releases due on the massive CIA Recordings and BC Presents labels plus having just completed two national tours , alongside Pendulum in August, and both Concord Dawn and The Upbeats in November , State of Mind are at the top of their game and still climbing.

Joining State of Mind is one of New Zealand's most influential and leading DJs of the scene. Responsible for helping the NZ arena become what it is today, DJ Presha has forged strong contacts all over the worlds Drum and Bass community. With access to all the latest tunes and an experienced head for selection, you can expect nothing less than an exceptionally sublime set from this man.

Last but not least, the fantastic DJ B-Line, commonly referred to as "the first lady of NZ DnB", returns to Wellington to prove her title once again. She's a regular at the successful "Top Shelf" gigs at Fu Bar in Auckland in addition too Wellingtons 'Breaks Royale' events, and has supported international acts too many to mention. With B-Line, you can be assured a top quality set covering the full soundscape of Drum and Bass.

On top of the guest line up, are very talented locals and Bassdrop party regulars namely Trei, UKNW, and Narkotix. They are all regulars on the airwaves on Firm107FM, with UKNW hosting "Bassdrop Radio" every Monday afternoon alongside almost every Wellington DnB DJ available.
