BrazilBeat Sound System launch album at Khuja Lounge

BrazilBeat Sound System offficially launch their debut full-length album Nova at the iconic Khuja Lounge.

With this release, BBSS's massive basslines, audacious percussion and fiery vocals are now at the fingertips of a growing legion of converts.

Nova means "new" in Portuguese, the language spoken in Brazil. Brazil is a vast and incredibly diverse country, with a strong cultural and musical orientation. Genres like samba, bossa-nova, and baile funk command immense popularity the world over.

BBSS offer something new: electronic music with true instrumental rhythmic sensibility. At the core of these compositions are the drums. Nova is a solid slice of four-on-the-floor club-wise grooves, full of witty percussive detail and surprising turns. Twelve original tracks showcase a depth of musical talent and diverse styles.
