Freddy's Live at Bluff Town Hall for Oyster Festival
From Paris, Portugal and London to Bluff, Fat Freddy’s Drop has been netted to play at the Bluff Oyster & Food Festival celebrating the succulent deep-sea Bluff delicacy.
Freddy’s will take the stage for the Ngāi Tahu Seafood Bluff Oyster & Food Festival Concert on Saturday 24 May in the Bluff Town Hall, a new event at the annual Festival.
Festival Chairman John Edminstin says “The Ngāi Tahu Seafood Bluff Oyster & Food Festival Concert is a great addition to the Festival and we’re really pleased to have such a well known band joining us at this year’s Festival. The Bluff community has been working really hard to put on an event that celebrates Bluff’s specialty seafood and promises to be great fun day for all.”
Wellington based seven-piece band Fat Freddy’s Drop is renown for an equal love of music and food. The opportunity to mix the two at a Festival in honour of the succulent deep-sea Bluff delicacy was enough to convince the band to head south despite just getting back in studio lockdown to polish off the follow up album to Based On A True Story.
