Hot off the back of a riotous, sold out Wellington live EP release show, 9 piece Neo-Soul, experimental, hip hop, funk monster Brockaflowersaurus-rex & The Blueberry Biscuits hit the Leigh Sawmill to perform tracks from their self titled live EP.

Brockaflower, as known by their fans, have amassed a thriving and appreciative audience of music lovers and regularly sell out Wellingtons Bodega. This new generation supergroup showcase fresh, young talent to produce a massive sound.

Formed in 2009 with Pat Stewart (Bass, Synth, Mpc), Thomas Friggens (Drums, Samples) and Ashton Sellars (guitar) , Brockaflower began doing various gigs around Wellington playing instrumental funk. They gradually incorporated new players which today consists of horn section Lorenzo Pradel (Alto Sax / Vocals), Blair Clare (Tenor Sax, Flute / Throat Singing), Gareth Thompson-Darling (Trombone) and up front bringing soulful vocals the unforgettable Zoe Moon Mahal, Estere Dalton and Louis Baker.

Prepare to be moved, grooved and left wanting for more.
