Future dub-tronica from Canada

In the 21st century Montreal joined the techno cities of Detroit and Berlin as a major centre for electronic experimentation as local producers pushed digital tools to create new brands of machine funk. Adopted Montrealer Scott Monteith has been at the centre of this, producing twisted dancefloor styles as part of 'Crackhaus' and
futuristic dub as 'Deadbeat'. Scott takes a break from teaching at the Melbourne Red Bull Dance Music Academy to play two New Zealand dates:
