From very humble beginnings in 1996 when 500 passionate youths were "initiated" under the stars in a natural limestone amphitheatre in the heart of the Southern Alps, Destination has grown from its solid foundations into a weekend long festival of dance and performance.

Ever evolving and pushing boundaries whilst remaining true to their underground roots, destination 2002 boasts a strong line-up of bands live acts and DJs with an emphasis on south pacific flavours.

Live acts include: Salmonela Dub, Shapeshifter, Trinity Roots, The Nomad, Epsilon Blue, Alpharhythym, Zuvuya, Infusion (aust) Ganag Giri (aust) Bunyip, O.G. Pacific Heights (debut), Indidgi, Fanatica, Confucius + Mysterious D, Isaac Aesili and Partido, Lillian Skie and x-ile from Germany.

Djs include Aragorn, Callam vs Pyre, Defender, Dubmission, Pylonz, Greg Churchill, kinesis vs Dr wilhaus, SolidState vs Steel and James Wickison.
On top of all this there are 3 dance zones, a full restaurant, cafe and a lighting / laser show that will leave you speechless.

*Camping space is only a few minutes walk from the main zone!
*This year, depending on weather, it's our wish to drive all vehicles directly to the camping ground. This excludes all sportcars and lowriders...!
