Girls on Rollerskates! Coco Solid, N.S.P.C, Angela Fisken, DJ Flix, Vicious Travolta

This BadBoy of a gig goes by the name of DISCOPUNK, its going to be a night of electro booty shaking 80's style rap courtesy of our very own COCO SOLID w/DJ Han Baby, checkout http://www.cocosolid.com and get involved! These guys are hot, hot, hot! So hot in fact that earlier this year they were asked to play the prestigious South by South West Festival in Austin texas.

Joining them will be a set of cutting edge discopunk, electrofunk, and quality grooves from DJ FLIX, who is over from the u.k and has played alongside the likes of MANDY, Felix Da Housecat, FC Kahuna, Tiefschwarz, Ralph Lawson, Layo & Bushwacka, Laurent Garnier, Mr C, Renegade Soundwave, Jon Carter, Justin Robertson....plus a host of top breakbeat djs, as well as running the 10 Kilo label from 2002 to 2006 alongside founder and friend Rikki Rokkit he hosted a weekly radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio for three years from 2002 to 2005 and worked as an assistant engineer in Bushwacka's Plank Recordings studio from 2002 to 2003.
He's played japan, brazil, argentina, germany, spain, france, australia, and hungary as well as playing the likes of Fabric and The End in London. Personally one of my favourite djs ANYWHERE at the moment.

Also, with their own premium blend of Mashup Goodness will be The NorthShorePonyClub, these lads are hot, witha soldout e.p and an album due for release anyday expect big things on the night!

And of course, to finish us off on the floor, our very own Angela Fisken. one half of Aural Trash and currently playing some seriously grunty tunes!!

But wait there's more!! Also along for the ride will be the Pirate City Rollers, aucklands very own female roller derby team. Thats right, Girls with attitude on Rollerskates in a club with arguably NZ's Best Sound System, living it up large with the finest purveyours of cutting edge tunes on the decks. Nicey Nice. and oh did i mention the kareoke room............... ; )
