DJ Fresh, one of drum and bass’s true visionaries, original Bad Company mastermind, successful solo artist and responsible for releasing some of the biggest drum and bass tunes on the planet on his label Breakbeat Kaos, is heading back to New Zealand. Fresh is down under to give audiences a glimpse of his forthcoming 2nd artist album ‘Kryptonite’. The follow up to his massively popular ‘Escape From Planet Monday’.

Bad Company went on to win virtually every accolade thinkable for a drum and bass act and were a phenomenon across the globe. As a solo artist Fresh was equally successful winning Knowledge Mag’s producer of the year 2 years running and referred to by many as a ‘legend’.

Fresh’s production credentials read like a hit list of heavy hitting drum and bass anthems. Some of contemporary DnB’s greatest dancefloor weapons bear his name, massive hits like ‘The Nine’, ‘Tarantula’, ‘Planet Dust’, ‘Signal’ and most recently the 2008 Ministry of Sound licensed smash hit ‘Gold Dust’.

Now his new album’s lead single ‘Heavyweight’ has been slamming dancefloors all year and has just been released on Digital Soundboy, this is followed shortly by ‘Hypercaine’ on BBK then the album out early 2010.
