Quite possibly the most influential man in modern dance music, DJ T, otherwise known as Thomas Koch, not only runs the globally influential Groove magazine, the genre defining Get Physical record label, produces the finest in modern club music, but also manages to rock the dancefloors from Ibiza to Miami to London to Madrid. DJ T's early obsession with electro funk from the likes of Africa Bambaata, Newcleus, Mantronix and Grandmaster Flash have flowed into the musical vision for his productions, DJing and his Get Physical label have the spirit of his early influences - street music with a futuristic production ethic. These influences fused everything Koch craved: glam, funk, beats and bass... They were the soundtrack to a new dance culture.

DJ T has translated this into the sound of the next generation of dance culture, with 2007 celebrating 5 years of Get Physical Records. Based in the global clubbing mecca of Berlin, DJ T is the mastermind behind the uber-chic label whose string of hits have dominated the airwaves and dancefloors across the globe since it's launch.
