New Zealand's first and finest night of Sound-Sistren running it red hot!

THE BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB is the only place to be, Labour weekend - FRIDAY 19 OCTOBER for EMPRESS SOUNDS - the first installment in a series of nights taking place around the country - bringing together Aotearoa's finest Sound-Sistren!

The sessions will kick off with DUBBLE TRUBBLE (CHCH) - and will be hosted by Wellington's own - MISTEEK (YARDWISE).

The DUBBLE TRUBBLE crew consist of I-SIS and LOTUS - both involved with selecting and promoting, this duo also have tight vocal, musical and journalistic skills. Representers of tuff tunes and heavy riddims, the crew have rammed dancehalls down South since long-time!

Alongside MISTEEK at the I-Trols - regular selector in the Capital, throughout New Zealand and on the Radio Active 89FM Roots and Culture Show - who specialises in contemporary and conscious Roots and Dancehall and represents and showcases women in Reggae.
