OVERVIEW ::

FIRST CLASS is the first in a series of larger events bringing together the top flight drum and bass DJ talent this country has to offer. This is our attempt to push the standard of local drum and bass to a new level with bigger sound, production, venue and lighting. For this first installment we bring together two of the most respected drum and bass DJ's in New Zealand.

Featuring an exclusive appearance by one of New Zealand's finest, DJ Sean, especially flown in from his new home Melbourne for a one off set. Alongside him will be one of Auckland's premiere drum and bass soldiers, Riddle, heading south for a very rare and long awaited Wellington appearance. Support will be provided by BF residents B.lo and Sal along with the vocal styling's of MC AG.

Sean

One of the original Bass Frontiers residents, Sean has been a major player in the development of Wellington's now thriving drum and bass scene. His skills behind the decks have always been second to none, he is renown for his smooth as silk mixes and on point and varied track selection. During his time in Wellington he supported many of the International drum and bass DJ's who regularly toured here.

He now calls Melbourne home after moving there 4 months ago. In the short time he has been there he has already established himself in the scene. He supported Bailey and Tali on there recent appearance there, has played gigs in Sydney and guested at many of Melbourne's regular local nights.

Riddle

Getting into mixing at age 16, Riddle first got into Rave/ Breakbeat and then started buying Jungle in 1992. 10 years later he is a very well established Auckland Drum n Bass DJ. Before moving to Auckland in 1993, Riddle had played many early Raves in Christchurch and has since DJed at pretty much every major Drum & Bass gig in Auckland including the early "Drum and Basswise", "Jungle Soundclash" gigs and "The Breaks" (Where he was a resident for the entire 3 years). Riddle also has the esteem of having played support for most of the international drum & bass DJ's that have toured New Zealand.
