FLOWZ & RIO Jam with Live Bands

FLOWZ is back in the building for the monthly jam session at Bodega, with special guest, Mr Rio Hunuki-Hemopo and his new band.

On the downlow, Rio recently dropped three tracks on 12" vinyl 'Ride', 'Wahinetoa' and 'Everybody’. The Bodega session is a rare chance to hear the bro playing these tracks with his new live band.

Rio wrote and sang on the three tracks, played most of the instruments and worked arrangements with Mu aka DJ Fitchie who did the drum programming (beats), and production in Lyall Bay.

A core member of gone but not forgotten TrinityRoots, Rio has been busy lately with Red Bull Music Academy, bass session work and guesting on vocals for the likes of Fat Freddy's Drop.

FLOWZ will be playing with his band The Usos and they'll be dropping tracks from his debut solo album, 'In The Heart Of The City'.
