Forte is an initiative by Footnote Dance to present work by an outstanding choreographer. Miniatures, first performed in 2004, is one of Johnston's most acclaimed works and has been re-designed for the 2007 Forte season.
With Miniatures, Johnston explores the beauty that comes with the small things in life, and the constraints and boundaries we burden our lives with. Footnote's dancers move gracefully through an intricately-designed, multi-dimensional stage of boxes, ladders, and precarious pedestals in a high-energy performance
