Stepping up once again its New Zealand's longest running and Wellington's only (sadly due to the demise of Flatline and Firm, respect) drum and Bass radio show, Future Funk. Following up their hugely successful session at Sandwiches in June the crew return to the scene of the crime for another full scale assault on the bodies and senses of the Welly massive. Once again bringing it like only they can are The Upbeats. Its been another big year for the boys as they go from strength to strength while the world eagerly awaits the release of their second album on Bad Company recs. Away from the studio they have been tearing up shows up and down New Zealand on the regular and been in demand throughout Australia and Europe touring abroad extensively. Joining them for Future Funk is Agent Alvin another Kiwi producer poised on the verge of world domination. A recent release on Roni Size's Full Cycle label and forthcoming releases due out soon on heavyweight label Breakbeat Kaos ensure his status as a fast rising star and definitely one to watch. Completing the killer line up is Bass Frontiers and Future Funk regulars Sal, Trei and DDog. 3 of Wellingtons most seasoned and experienced DJ's they never fail to get the floor moving with their selections and skills on the 1's and 2's.

$20 (plus booking fee) presales thru Real Groovy, DMC and Sandwiches
