Waitangi Day 2003 & 25,000 attended Groove In The Park free at Aucklands Domain. Expect a similar attendance this year with another lineup of national & international artists / djs appearing for seven hours of simulcast sunshine at no charge from midday Friday February 5, Waitangi Day.

Beginning with the return of London based Nathan Haines -New Zealands biggest selling Jazz musician together with his five piece UK band & vocalists celebrating the cd remix release of The Return Of The Squire For Hire featuring mixes from Ashley Beedle & the animated video for Doot Dude ( check it on C4 & Juice )

The UK's dj John Sa Trincha plays a selection of soulful & seductive tunes ideal for the Aoteora summer.The Ibiza & Salinas beach, bar-beats dj veteran has been a pioneer of chilled based sound selections for more than 10 years. His eclectic influence has helped spread the genre of preclub cd collections to a worldwide audience.His hugely popular Beach Life compilation & Salinas Sessions mix cds are available locally, so now's your chance to hear what the British & Europeans have known all along because he's exclusively at Groove in The Park Waitangi Day 04.

AK Samba ,the 30-member latin percussion orchestra will be performing the street sounds of Sao Paulo fusion together with special guests their Capoeira (Brazilian fighting arts) troupe to stun your senses. Check em out a Galatos for a sample of their skills.

Finally local house heroes & gold selling ex-Bfm club compilers Nice n Urlich return for a set of their favourite hip swaying hits from the past & the present. We expect it will be another show stopper- always expect the unexpected from dj duo Bevan Keys & Peter Urlich.
