Mixing the spirit of rave with tropical heat
DeVille is well known for seeking out the best
international bass music for his sets cutting
together grime, bassline and garage from the
UK with sounds from round the world that
have the same energy and intensity. He has
showcased his sound across the UK, EU,
USA and beyond.
As a producer he mixes up the heavy bass
and raw percussive energy of his DJ sets into
dancefloor bombs that have found their way
into the boxes of DJs across the spectrum
from Mary Ann Hobbes to Starkey, DZ to King
Cannibal, Rob Smith, Warlock Basement
Jaxx.
He runs Senseless Records which celebrates its fifth birthday this year. In that time the
label has searched the UK and far beyond for international heat reaching out from Warsaw
to Caracas. Releasing almost twenty EPs and two albums of technicolour bass music from
an extended family of artists including vocalists like Max Romeo, Warrior Queen, Badness,
Foreign Beggars and YT and producers like Jack Sparrow, Starkey, Sarantis, Ghosttown,
