NZ's freshest DJ / producer talent

The regional finals of Thirst 2005 will be a must see for clubbers keen to find out who is NZ's freshest DJ / producer talent with the Wellington regional final kicking off at Sandwiches on April 9th.

The finalists are Damo Crook, Damon Schwalger, Michael Kircher, Pete Busby, Olly Brunton, and Anwar Goulouh who will perform a 15 minute set where they will play their original track which has been pressed to dubplate. Thirst Winner 2004 Matt Harris and Jason Harding from Capitol Recordings will also perform.

The four successful regional finalists will then compete at the national finals on April 22nd and the winner will share the stage with superstar DJ's Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo who are headlining the event.

The winner not only claims $5,000 studio time or equipment and guest DJs at Thirst Australia, but will also represent New Zealand at the Asia Pacific Thirst Regional Finals. From here, if successful, they can make it to the World Thirst finals, where DJs vie for the ultimate prize: a one year contract with Thirst and to go on a global tour.
