House of Shem are on tour in the summer, come and check out Aotearoas most uplifting Reggae band.

House of Shem back to there roots performing live and direct at the Opononi Hotel on 27 December, kicking of there Summer Jam Tour. House of Shem released there debut album "Keep Rising" in may 08, and have toured extensively throughout New Zealand including sold out shows in Taupo, Whakatane, Wanganui to name a few.

Opononi Hotel will be an outside event, come down and support House of Shem as they bring you hits from there album, Herbs classics, reggae classics, and new songs.

Support act for the night is 'Silva and The Battlesound' Silva (a.k.a Tanya Dyer) hails from central Auckland where she grew up on the streets of Mt Roskill and Grey Lynn. Her talented and unique style is inspired by her father’s Jamaican roots and her love for hip hop beats and soul sounding grooves.This “up n coming” artist is all about conscious music (music with a positive message). With much of her childhood years being spent with the Twelve Tribes of Israel New Zealand, her conscious lyrics and positive demeanour are definitely something to be watching out for. She has rocked stages with some of Aotearoa’s finest talent including members of ‘The Krates’ (Che Fu), ‘Batucada Sound machine’, ‘Dam Native’, ‘Ladi6 n Parks’, ‘Cornerstone Roots’, ‘The Midnights’ just to name a few.
