Now a Wellington DJ, Recloose is firmly established as one of the world's freshest figures in forward-thinking dance music. After meeting a georgeous wahine from Wellington he moved down to New Zealand to set up studio in Paekakariki. Recloose AKA Matt Chicoine has recently released his highly anticipated debut album Cardiology, on the Planet E label in America and !K7 Records elsewhere in the world. Already acclaimed by international tastemakers like the BBC's legendary leftfield dance DJ Gilles Peterson, Cardiology delivers freeform funk designed not to be dissected and deconstructed, but rather felt. "I was trying to create music from the heart" explains Recloose. "Less with my brains and more with my innards". And that intention has been well and truly recognised with this incredible LP.

Cardiology guest and Matt's guest in New Zealand, Justin Chapman makes up one half of production duo Kimetic Just: Coming out of Atlanta, Georgia, emerging house production team KemeticJust are starting to make serious waves in the industry. The duo is comprised of Justin Chapman (aka DJ Justin) and Kevin Hyman (aka DJ Kemit), who have spent their entire adult lives in music - Kemit was actually a member of Arrested Development in the 90s!

KemeticJust's deep, organic garage style is garnering a great deal of attention worldwide. "The Maiden E.P." on esteemed French label Silver Network turned heads and ears towards their sound, leading to work with King St./NiteGrooves ("Wishin1", "Atlanta Nights") and remix work with Giant Step and "Mr. Fingers" himself, Larry Heard. They hold numerous residencies at home in Atlanta, and have toured Japan, France, Germany and Belgium, with more trips sure to follow as their star continues to rise. You will be hearing a lot more from these two.

Recloose and Justin are joined by canadian soulstress (just) Geneveive who sings on Cardiology also, che'll be handling the mic on the night! And to cushion the guests into Wellington nightlife is the Cuba Street fixture and highly eclectic, yet solid DJ B.lo. Perfect!
