Whitecliffs
Canterbury
I.Nation winds up summer and the festival season once again in the idyllic west Canterbury valley of Whitecliffs for the third year running.
Quoted as “The Outdoor Party of the Year” (NZ Musician Magazine) I.Nation 2008 attracted festival goers from all over NZ and Australia who witnessed one of Shapeshifter’s most mind blowing performances to date.
On the 21st and 22nd of March 2009 this legendary festival site will once again host a lineup of Aotearoa’s finest musical talents including heavy weight live performances from TIKI Live and Little Bushman and performances from Ladi 6, P.Diggsss and Sambora (Shapeshifter), Oakley 'OG' Grenell Sunshine Soundsystem and Dubwize
Now in it’s third year the I.Nation festival is spread over 2 days with 2 zones, displaying the finest in Drum n Bass, Jungle, Reggae, Dancehall, Hiphop, Dubstep, Jazz, Funk, Soul and Breaks. There will be camping and café facilities so that you can enjoy the full outdoor experience that I.Nation has to offer.
Whitecliffs has witnessed some of the most legendary events in NZ’s music history. From 1983 to 1995 the site was used for the well known Whitecliffs family music festivals. As New Zealand music evolved - so did the style of outdoor parties. Whitecliffs then became host to some of this country’s finest outdoor dance events including En-Train, The Gathering and New Beginnings.
I.Nation 2009 will be an event not to be missed.
