Electroluxxe's new project Duotone

Intersect kicks off its program for 2008 with the debut performance from audio/visual partnership DUOTONE (aka Samari and Jem the Misfit)

Duotone will bring a unique live audio and visual experience to the Galatos lounge this month, creating lush ambient spaces through the intersection of moving image and minimal electronica.

Their performance interweaves ideas on mass production, celebrity, consumerism and television media with synthesized sound, televised glitch and ambient audio-scapes.

Expect an evening of aural and visual stimulation that raises issues surrounding modern culture today.
