JAH MASON originates from the parish of Manchester, Jamaica, was raised in a musically focused family and environment and impacted on the Reggae world with his first release in 1991 - Selassie I Name Me A Call. He then went on to work with luminary artists and labels such as Tony Rebel, Jah Cure, Ghetto Youths & VP Records and released seminal recordings such as Never Give Up, Princess Gone & Mi Chalwa.

Mixing his renowned 'fire-brand' vocal skills - in the tradition of Sizzla, Capleton & Anthony B - with a strong singing voice - JAH MASON represents the new breed of contemporary and conscious Reggae Dancehall artists firmly grounded in Rastafari (specifically Bobo Ashanti) belief and traditions.

After extensively touring Europe, the UK, US and Jamaica - with a reputation for powerful and exciting stage shows - JAH MASON & his selector LENNY ROOTS reach Aotearoa for one N.Z. show only in Wellington, to spread authentic Reggae vibes and culture.
