The face of good looking is finally coming to Christchurch
It is Urban Notion's 50th Party. To celebrate, we have the world's finest DJ and MC combination, LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad, for their first ever appearance in Christchurch.
The face of Good Looking records, a label with a difference, the pair have been touring worldwide for years to packed out shows blowing away every audience they encounter.
Their skills were honed on the rave scene of the early 90s where Bukem established himself as one of the in-demand DJs, Conrad his constant companion.
Bukem is the pioneer of the drum n bass sound. His 1991 classic 'Demons Theme' captured the mood of the time by combining rave sounds with the first ever use of the iconic "Amen" breakbeat, creating the first true Jungle roller and inspiring countless others. Bukem has since become one of the most respected label heads in DnB today.
Conrad has come to be a defining element in the drum n bass scene. His lush voice, and soul-searching lyrics have wowed audiences the globe over and he has recently proven himself in the production stakes with the huge track 'Golden Girl'.
This night promises to be an epic journey through the Good Looking sound. Bukem and Conrad are more than just an incredible DJ/MC combination. They represent a way of looking at the world and music that is a paradigm shift from the ordinary. Christchurch is lucky to be able to become part of this experience, see you there.
