Mixdown hits Wellington on the evening of Saturday the 13th of October and features a fusion of stylez in three zones mixing up Wellington and beyond's fine selectahs and stylists of Drum n Bass, Jazz, Hard House, Trance, and Dub.

Confirmed acts include, Quamay (Back2Back Volume 3), Kurupt (Firm FM), Mnemonik(Substream, Sundae), Chaomain (Shock Therapy, Sundae), Puppy (Homebass, Radioactive), Jimmy Blunt (Firm FM), Rhombus (Live and Featuring Imon Star), Laserboy (Substream, Therapy), D.Stroya (Techtonic), Basix (Techtonic, Planetary Alignment), Dexter (Debuting), Woody (Live), Rosie (Exodus, Planetary Alignment), Fanatica (ChCh, RDU Veteran).

Apart from exposing you to an environment of sight and sound to take you beyond the normal precepts of reality, Mixdown is fundraising to aid in the completion of Wellingtons newest studio complex at 50 Victoria St.

The studio is being built to provide a low cost but high quality recording and producing option to wellington's up and coming and fiscally challenged bands, live acts, composers and producers.
