Money with DJ Dijital
- Music: Techno, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Electro, Breaks
Detroit Ghettotech, direct from Motor City
Drawing from hip hop influences and the birthright of the Detroit sound, Di'jital began his ascent of the dj ranks over a decade ago, pumping the clubs with his broad musical tastes: Juan Atkins, Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambatta, rap and hip hop. Yet, from the beginning, Di'jital's declared mission was straight forward "to keep the crowd moving all night long."
His mean skillz took him far beyond his first set of turntables as an intricate part of Detroit electro supergroup Aux 88. He is currently recording for DJ Godfather's Databass Records
His furious mixes are dizzying, a weaving, blending and matching of rudimentary beats, pushing his trademark brand of cut up doubles, hip-hop acapellas, pitched down jungle, pitched up Chicago house and the unmistakable sound of Detroit booty/ghettotech/tech/tech-bass/bass
Ghettotech is a hybrid form of Miami booty bass, Chicago ghetto tracks and Detroit electro all turned out together with battle DJ techniques. Although around for years in Detroit, this sound is just beginning to beep on the international radar. Undoubtedly a sell out event, don't miss the New Dickride Entertainment's first of many international ghettotech pump-offs.
