Monkey records is an independent record label, founded mid-2000, dedicated to releasing and promoting New Zealand based artists of an innovative or experimental nature.
Our aim is to showcase the wealth of music being created on the periphery of the NZ music scene and to present these artists with an opportunity to share their work.
Originally specialising in ambient music we have broadened our scope to include world, accoustic and experimental electronic releases.
