The most Whizzcrunkinest, Freon Free'est, Bonus Lvl'est way to spend your end of year calender switching weekend
For 3 nights and 4 days we'll be celebrating the Georgian Calender turn over is the absolutely stunning Marlborough Sounds (more specifically Clova Bay).
For map and extra info see facebook events page http://www.facebook.com/#/event.php?eid=165754881150
With the Mashup Zone less about 100 meters from the sea and bordering on one of our stunning national parks and our Mashout zone nested in the trees by a creek MonsterMash promises to be a great place to be for New Years.
From Auckland to Dunedin we have some of New Zealands finest electronic acts with a few notable live (hip hop and dub/reggae) acts thrown in for good measure. A healthy dose of Progressive Trance, Minimal Techno, Dubstep, Psytrance and plenty more will be be aural candy for ears over one of the biggest soundsystems we've got toether in years. Sounds Provided by the unequaled Sacral Sounds and the Mean team for the Mashup Zone.
We've got the Dunedin fire kids coming up for a performance that is shaping up to be A MAZE ING. The costumes they've made are stunning and they've been nose to grindstone getting their performance perfected. We've also got various other performers and workshop peoples who'll be doing things throughout the party to keep you entertained... ...Not that you'll be bored or anything right?
We've got plenty of room for camping and parking. Fresh running water from a creek. Coffee and Donuts Provided by the indefatigable Ollie Bollie Man. Tasty healthy filling food made by our mates and Sausage Sammies and Bacon Butty's provided by Campbells butchery ensure that if you don't bring enough to eat you shan't go hungry. Even if you do bring plenty theres nothing like a bacon sandwich and a coffee for breakfast. . . however it is still reccomendable that you bring plenty of your own food supplies to last you the time that you will be at the party. Aim to be as self sufficient as you can.
We've still got some spots on the line up, if anyones keen for a spin get in touch. The Mashup zone's looking pretty full at this point but theres still a few slots going in the Mashout zone - if you've got some tasty tunes be sure to get in touch or just bring them along.
If anyones interested in having a stall, stall spaces are limited as we do already have a variety of food provided but depending on what you're interested in doing we could possibly fit you in .
There are some sandflies at dawn and dusk so be sure to bring some insect repellent. Sunscreen/Hats would be a good idea as well it can get pretty hot and due to out love of freon and hurons the sun can get pretty burny after prolonged exposure. And of course bring your togs! The water is beautiful out there.
The road access is pretty good, shouldn't have too much trouble getting large vehicles in. But if you are planning on bringing in any large vehicles such as bus's please get in touch as space to park such vehicles could be at a premium. We'll have signs to the party from Manaroa. Look for the Monster!
Tickets are $65 +BF from Cosmic Corner or I can also post them if you don't have a Cosmic Corner in your home town. Email me at realmatureproductions@live.com for postal ticket details.
