Tag Promotions is rather happy to announce that we have survived our first year in the crazy jungle that is Auckland’s dance scene.

In its first calendar year of operation, Tag Promotions held 17 events at various venues featuring the following 21 International acts, most of which were flown from European cities for your enjoyment. Friendly (uk), Rennie Pilgrem (uk), The Freestylers (uk), The Rogue Element (uk), Madox (italy), Defcon1 (australia), The Breakfastaz (uk), Merka (uk), Hyper (uk), Nick Thayer (Australia / twice), The Scratch Perverts (uk), Adam Freeland (uk), Freq Nasty (uk), CtrlZ (uk), Aquasky (uk), Meat Katie (uk), Jono Fernandez (Australia), The Autobots (uk), Deekline & Wizard (uk), Tayo (uk) & Koma & Bones (uk).

By booking these Internationals, along with more than one hundred slots made available for local support acts and thousands of happy punters through the doors, Tag Promotions has helped strengthen the Breakbeat sound in Auckland. We are by no means stopping however and our next year promises to be even larger. To prove this point we would like to announce that Breaks superstars NAPT(UK)will be joining us at our first year celebrations in April 2008, and it is fitting that this will be the first time the award winning duo has ventured to New Zealand.
