We want to push a performance envelope that is a step beyond what people could normally expect from a drum'n'bass set
THE NON VOGUE 2008 TOUR
After the success of their self released album "Nobody's Out There” the Upbeats are expanding their repertoire with new releases on their label ‘Non Vogue’ . The tracks include collaborations with artists Noisia, Evol Intent, Maldini BC UK, Ewun & State of Mind. If you've seen Andy C, Hype, Pendulum, Ed Rush or Teebee DJ over the last 6 months then you would have heard the new Non Vogue material.
“We formed our own label Non Vogue so we could release the music we wanted to release, when we wanted to release it, and it gives us the freedom to use the format that we want" Says Glenn.
To celebrate the releases, the Upbeats will be doing a tour of New Zealand and Australia incorporating their live show which features vocalists Georgie Fisher and MC KP with Jeremy and Dylan on keys, guitar and laptops.
“For The Upbeats performing live is such an important part of what we do, we love putting on an intense and energetic show” says Glenn.
"We tour as much as we can," says Jones." We want to push a performance envelope that is a step beyond what people could normally expect from a drum'n'bass set."
The tour throughout New Zealand commences in October and runs through November. Watch out for the new releases on Non Vogue in all those good stores nationwide.
