It's been a busy year for the big bollock from Crazy Penis, with the release of a new album, plus loads of touring and festival performances.
Out on Paper Recordings, the highly anticipated second Crazy Penis album, 'The Wicked Is Music', showed off a more mature and relaxed sound, with live vocals and instruments featuring strongly throughout.
In England, the Faze Action mix of the single 'Give It Up' was a huge hit, with the likes of Stuart Patterson, David Duriez, d'Julz and Roger Sanchez regularly laying it out. It also hit the Buzz Chart on Radio 1 and lingered around there for a couple of weeks.
In Australia, the Triple J radio station seems to have a real thing about the opening track 'There's A Better Place', with it's silly Willy Wonka sample, which seems to be growing in popularity daily.
With DJ and live band requests flooding in, Jim Baron has firmly established himself as a talented musician and charismatic performer. Early in October, the Paper Recordings pussyfoot will be back on our dancefloors - mincing up a selection of disco and soul for his New Zealand fans.
Meanwhile, Crazy Penis are already working on a third album in their Nottingham studios...
