Auckland's don of DJs will be playing his definition of the sound that is making waves worldwide this year: minimal.

Found hidden in Parnell at the Eastern end of Auckland's inner city is the
Fugu Sake Lounge located in the Blowfish Sushi restaurant. Every
week they host Minimal Offcuts with resident Phil Brokelmann.

This German born Kiwi at heart, reminds us that minimal and deep electronica can be as seductive as soul food. 2007 saw Phil supporting artists such as DJ T (Get Physical) and Matthias Tanzmann (Poker Flat, Moon Harbour) on their New Zealand tours.

December 8th sees Phil meet up with the one and only Roger Perry, arguably Auckland's don of DJs. Roger will be playing his definition of the sound that is making waves worldwide this year: minimal. Expect nothing less than pure passion for new music from Roger, in a style that only comes from years of experience. Get down!

As if that wasn't enough, joining these seasoned campaigners is young gun Justin Nabbs, fast making a name for himself amongst Auckland's club culture, with his 'Das Ist Minimal' underground nights.
