The full cycle head honcho touches down in Christchurch

No introduction needed, one of the biggest names in dance music and highly regarded as the ambassador for Drum & Bass, Roni Size will be hitting our shores with an all out assault on NZ.

An amazing DJ & producer, Mr Roni was one of the first to bring the jazzy elements into Drum & Bass which soon saw him picked up by the likes of Giles Peterson's Talking Loud label. Things went a step further for Roni when he brought together the legendary Reprazent crew, who took the world by storm with their New Forms LP, which picked up the Mercury Prize Award. This boosted their international status and awoke the world to the sounds of Roni Size.

Known for his tight production work, Roni has produced tracks for such diverse artists as Redman, Sonique, Beverley Knight, Fallacy and Cypress Hill and written tracks for numerous film scores including the Avengers and Blade 2. Many of his remixes have also become classics, for artists as diverse as U2 and Basement Jaxx.

Roni will be accompanied by the magnetic brilliance of Dynamite MC, the front man of Reprezent and Full Cycle. Dynamite has collaborated with a range of artists including; The Nextmen, Skitz, Scratch Perverts, Andy C, High Contrast, DJ Zinc and has featured on many top labels including Hospital and Ram Recordings. Dynamite has also released several solo albums including: "The World of Dynamite" and "Big Man Talk" which featured samples from Enya and Kanye West among others. A third album, "Styles Galore" is set to follow later in 2006.With last year's tour being a total sellout, this is one show that no one should sleep on!
