Shaboom was born in Blackpool back in 1995, when Dick Johnson (then resident DJ at the Hacienda), Ben Davis (of the paperecordings cooperative), Mark Bell (notorious studio wizard) and Paul Birchall (keys maestro for M-People) came together to form both a studio act and record label.
