Brand New Math Bio…
Times are busy for Auckland band Brand New Math. After emerging in 2007 opening for bands such as Cut Off Your Hands and The Brunettes, as well as taking up a page or two in 'Real Groove', their guitarist went to the Andes and they took two months off. 2008 was the year of the Moustache Party EP. Recorded in The Depot Artspace by bassist Calum Gunn the EP promptly sold out and led to a tour of NZ as well as a first trip to Australia supporting Cut Off Your Hands. The band has also since played the Big Day Out '09 as well as the 95bfm Summer Series. Nowadays they're recording all new material with Djeisan Suskov, the first result of which - 'Junkyard Shots' - is out now.
