Substream are back for their first full night since June 2001 charged up and ready to go, so if you need a solid dose of pure trance early in 2K3, this is the night for you.

Substream are a wellington crew who have been creating their unique style of trance party at Studionine since early 1999.
Approximatley 10 events later substream have a strong following among those who love solid trance across the whole range of trance subgenres.

While they have hosted overseas acts, their focus has always been on giving slots to hardworking, music loving, locals and nationals.

The last eighteen months have been something of a respite for substream who saw that Trance parties weren't doing so well for a while with most people attending prog, hardhouse, house and drum'n'bass gigs in wellington.

In the last year trance has shown a comeback globally, and has steadily been showing its face on the wellington scene.

Now Substream are back for their first full night since June 2001 charged up and ready to go, so if you need a solid dose of pure trance early in 2K3, this is the night for you.

They're spending an extra amount on lights and décor plus a couple of wee surprises, and of course they have a top selection of local Pure Trance DJ's, with a sublime selection of Welly's finest house aficionados in the Nine Bar.

Door Entry: $10 before midnight, $15 thereafter, The Ninebar opens from 10pm.
