Summermix III on the Coast

Summer burns hot in Gisborne wtih the third installment of SUMMERMIX.

BrazilBeat Sound System is a DJ-drums collective and live act that originated in San Francisco in 2000. Internationally renowned Brazilian master percussionist Nego Beto and Dj Mara infuses captivating Brazilian melodies and the rhythms of Nego with thunderous basslines. The sound is funk, house, breaks, dub, and roots.

Paul Sweetman a.k.a DJ Phully has been a soild stalwart of New Zealand's thriving house music scene for more than 10 years, plays at the top clubs and outdoor events, as well as hosting a radio show on Auckland's George FM.

Phully's ability to rock any dance floor with his own hard hitting, deep, dirty tracks has made him one of Auckland's best loved DJs. Throughout his career, he has played at most of New Zealand's leading clubs as well as some of the world's most exclusive venues in Europe and Asia.

As a DJ Phully is known for his fine blend of chunky/funky beats with jazzy undertones and he's successfully captured these vibes in his production style.

Phully brought to NZ the first UK release under the Reliable Recordings imprint of Kog Transmissions. Now he has his own label: Lovefunk Records.

In June 2005 Phully released his first artist CD.  Phullyosophy Vol 1 features eleven tracks produced by Phully and range from soulful R&B (featuring Teremoana Rapley) to chunky rollin' house.
