First Wellington Show

The Ribbon is an Auckland based music project of Luke Munn and Campbell Birch; incorporating keyboards, drum loops, guitar and vocals to create ambient soundscapes with glitches and static noise, accompanied by live visuals.

They have recorded, mastered and released their 11-track debut album on their own label. Recorded and mixed in basements, mastered by friends and packaged and distributed themselves in recycled cardboard with original artwork, this is 100% independent music from start to finish.

Having played shows all over Auckland from exhibition spaces to clubs, with experimental composers or accompanying box wars, this will be The Ribbons first time in Wellington.

Playing at Good Luck bar Thursday April 30th, with live visuals on two screens and supported by DJ Lotion.
