There is no denying Doc Scott's place in UK Drum and Bass history. He is one of the forefathers of the movement.

Responsible for spreading the sound first by forming the legendary Metalheadz label with Goldie and now by running 31 Records, one of the UK's premiere Drum and Bass imprints.

Doc Scott is one of the most in demand DJ's on the global circuit, maintaining residencies in London whilst regularly travelling to America and throughout Europe.

His bond with the New Zealand drum and bass crew stands strong, since first coming here in 1997 he has toured the country every year.

Doc Scott's productions have always shaped the way in which drum and bass has progressed. In 1996 the seminal 'Shadowboxing' pushed drum and bass towards the dark place that it inhabited for a couple of years.

Then in 1999 it was Scott's brilliant "Liquid Fingers" that helped push drum and bass back towards the light. Like a breath of fresh air, the track combined old school house flavor with drum and bass beats to bring the funk back to the jungle.
