Hold tight all Welli kru for the return of The Super Sharp Shooter, the one like DJ Zinc. Zinc make's his long awaited return to Wellington, last appearing in '97 at La Luna. Those of you who were lucky enough to be present will no doubt remember Zinc tearing the roof off with his amazing skills and tight selection.

THERES PLAYAZ AND THEN THERES TRUE PLAYAZ

Combining with DJ Hype and Pascal to form the label True Playaz in the mid-90's, Zinc has gone on to become one of the main players in the UK drum and bass scene.

Both a producer and a DJ, Zinc's talents lie as much in the studio as they do behind the decks.

His recent production 'Casino Royale' has been smashing dance floors worldwide on dub-plate for months, featuring in the sets of anyone who can get hold of it. Combine this with Zinc's popularity amongst the nu-school breaks/2 step scene with his releases on Bingo Beats and it's clear that he is currently riding high on a creative wave.

This position will be consolidated with the release of the highly anticipated "Playaz4Real" album due on True Playaz in June. It contains many exclusive Zinc tracks as well as contributions from Hype and Pascal.
