A New Years Festival with a difference.

Flavours of Music, Art, Performers, Healing, Market Wares and Soul so diverse, your tounge might tingle with delight!

Through Takaka, past Collingwood, follow the signs into Pakawau

Where else can you get 4 days and 3 nights camping in a beautiful bush clad area opposite the sea. You will be treated to sensory pleasures with a Live Zone, Trance Zone, Multi Zone, Ambient Zone, and Tribal Zone. There will be music for all tastes, which is played all hours as you relax, dance and sing under the starry skies and blue cloudless days of Takaka, Golden Bay.

If you have the kids - No Worries, just bring them along to hang out in the Kidz Zone. Grab some wholesome food and shop for delights in the Market Areas while you are at it.

Beware of the performers though; they strike at any time throughout the crowds. And, if it all gets too much, try out the Healing Zone for that massage you promised yourself half a year ago!

Oh, and it you have the time and if you think like us, you'll make it along to our workshops through out the festival. You can educate yourself and others about the techniques and structures of organic gardening, compost making and the like. You can even check out those funky little worms at our Worm Farm. Or if you just want a place to hang out and moan about the crazy way this world is operating, you are welcome here.

You can help make Visionz 04 a successful ZeroWaste event like it was last year (thanks to all the volunteer and part people who helped out!). By bringing your own Knives/Forks/Plates/cups, you can be rewarded with discounts at food stalls. Choose food stalls that use potatoepak plates and help create less waste. Watch and learn as Visionz recycles and uses all your waste.

Now, for a festival that attracts up to 4,000 people, that's quite something! And you helped.

Visionz is organised by a the Visionz Trust 2001 ?a registered, charitable community orientated organisation who produces an enlightening dance party and aims to raise funds to promote sustainable communities.

By law, no individuals or groups can take personal profits from this festival. We are open to input from the wider community and anyone can become a member of our Trust and stand to be elected as a trustee.

By keeping everything transparent, we hope to eradicate the commercialism and power politics from the dance culture scene. Visionz is more than just a lip smacking festival, it can be a real step towards positive change in the way we live our lives, in the way we treat ourselves, each other and in the way we treat our plant Earth.
