Australasia's biggest reggae selectors come together for a night of strictly unity vibes

Come to Bar Bodega, Saturday 29 November, when Vital Sounds Hi-Fi host a unity dance show-casing some of Australasia's biggest reggae selectors! Featuring for the first time in Aotearoa, Jesse I (Chant Down, Melbourne), alongside NZ's heavyweight sound, Vital Sounds Hi-Fi (Manray & MC Ras Stone), with support from Art Official & Duke Willis!

Jesse I has been forwarding reggae in Australia for over ten years. Based in Melbourne, he is an integral part of the scene, being one-half of the legendary Chant Down Sound and pushing the vibes through his long-standing radio show, Chant Down Babylon, the cornerstone monthly reggae night, More Fire, an import business specialising in supplying 7" vinyl and bringing the sounds and culture of reggae music to the Australian massive! Reaching these shores for the first time, he comes to the Capital to spread his pure fire sound!

Hosting the night is the newly launched Vital Sounds Hi-Fi, NZ's first custom-built heavyweight sound, with sound-operator, Manray at the controls and Ras Stone on the mic. Vital Sounds Hi-Fi brings an authentic sound-system experience to the massive, specialising in heavy UK & JA styles, this crew brings nothing but deep roots and dub pressure each and every time!

Also with support from A1 champion selectors Art Official (Newtown Sound) and Duke Willis (Sounds Almighty)!
