The mighty WOMAD (World of Music, Arts & Dance) Festival returns to New Zealand on 11-13 March 2005

WOMAD New Zealand 2005 will be held on March 11-13 at New Plymouth's glorious Brooklands Park and TSB Bowl. The 2005 event follows in the footsteps of the hugely successful inaugural Taranaki event held in March 2003.

Over 3 summer days, WOMAD offers a musical and cultural escape amongst the spectacular scenery of Taranaki. The city of New Plymouth plays host to this, the world's only truly global music, arts and dance festival. With an expected audience of 30,000 over 3 days, the 2005 WOMAD Festival is set to be the largest event of its kind in New Zealand.

WOMAD New Zealand 2005 , a three day festival featuring music, arts and dance from more than 375 performers from 15 countries. Includes workshops, a global food village, kidzone and on-site camping/marae accommodation.
