Zuvuya Live with Roots Foundation
- Fri 16 May 2003, 9:00pm @ Indigo, Wellington
- Music: Drum and Bass, Reggae, Dub
Zuvuya take to the road again this may bringing the finest Dub Aotearoa has to offer for the masses.
Zuvuya's blend of dirty dub, with elements of dancehall and jungle often defies the ears as is mashed up King Tubby style to create true dub flavors set to stun the nation.
An energetic live show, powerhouse riddim section & killer percussion provide the perfect backdrop for Fat Eddy an Pelroy's wonderfully harmonized vocals. All this processed by Zuvuya's live Dub producer "king Dread-I" to add the finishing dub touches an MPC to the mix makes this a night not to be missed.
The May tour comes on the back of an impressive list of summer gig including Radio Active's One Love, bFM summer series, Kikoura Roots, Raglan Soundsplash Reggae Festival as well as gigs supporting Japanese Dubster's Dry 'n Heavy, and reggae legends Sly and Robbie.
The tour will feature material from Zuvuya's 2nd album "Weed of Wisdom" along with new material from their upcoming album to be released this year on their own label "Dub Eden Records".
Zuvuya hit Indigo bar this Friday May 16th alongside New Zealand finest sound system, The Roots Foundation.
For real, a night of massive Dub proportions not to be missed.
