Beefy's Big Birthday Bash - 25th June @ Cactus Jacks

This awesome night was in dedication of Bottom End Music's very own DJ Beefy (Carl Goldsmith), to celebrate his 30somethingith (sshhhhhh) birthday!!

The night started with BZP, the alternative shred experts lighting up the stage with a blistering set of their amazing guitar riffs, pumping basslines and screeching vocals. The crowd moshed down until Beefy himself took over the decks at around midnight.

Beefy played a brilliant prog/psy-trance set getting the dance floor packed as more and more people came streaming through the doors. At around 2am to a near capacity crowd P.H. took over the decks - nervous to follow Beefy and keep the crowd pumping, he succeeded and the night just kept on getting better!!

Even after the bar closed the fun just didnt want to stop - and we finally got the last people out of the venue at around 4 and tiredly packed up.

Buzz on the street has been excellent - congratulations on a good night all round, thanks to BZP and onwards and upwards to next month and a Drum n Bass/Breaks night!! Keep your eyes peeled for those Bottom End Music posters and ask one of our crew for a flyer!!
